The magnificent Eastern Desert, also called Arabian Desert, is composed of an almost uninterrupted chain of mountains offering solemn still and fascinating scenery. Don’t forget your camera to share best view shots to your friends and to memorize the truly special experience. The area is very rich in minerals and the extent of mining exploitation in ancient times is not yet fully known. The ruins that have been already found in the Eastern Desert date back to the Ptolemaic and Roman eras (4th century BC until 7th century AC).
The desert is a home for Bedouin tribes, who will welcome you and offer a drink or bread.
Passages by quad bikes, jeeps and horse& camel riding are the most comfortable ways to explore desert.
